Cheryl has a degree in early childhood Elementary Education, and learning exceptionalities from Bowling Green State University. In 1980 she began tutoring in her home, while teaching lower and middle school Science and Math at Gulliver Academy. She soon found herself in need for more tutors and thus the interview process began. Before she knew it, Tutorial Resources was born. It has since become the longest running academic tutoring company serving the Miami-Dade community. 

 

After graduating from the University of Florida with a BS in Business Administration, Cheryl’s daughter, Heidi Sell, joined as the Associate Director. She directs test preparation programs, presents to school administrators and parents about tutorial services, assists in recruiting new tutors, and works directly with students. 

 

Tutorial Resources is unique in the way they interface with teachers, school administrators, therapists, and school counselors about the students’ needs. They explore every avenue before placing a child with the appropriate tutor.
